For those of you who missed seeing the daily updates, thanks for your patience. We're back live again.

Brought a webcam back. Thinking that'll take a few days to figure out how to integrate with the site. First have to figure out the protocol so I can grab a snapshot on a regular basis. The camera has it's own mini web server on board and a feature where I can subscribe to a remote update server. I'd rather not have to subscribe to anything so there could be a bit of a delay in working out a solution. Not to mention that we're all linux all the time here so the application that came with the camera is nearly useless. Could maybe run it with wine but that seems lame.

That's all the news for now, still unwinding from the trip. I'll attempt to chronicle the return journey in a day or two, including the episode where part of the aircraft flew off while climbing out of Detroit Metro. Travelling sucks and the TSA goons are a major part of why.
